Weekend Wonderings

I was doing the weekly Tesco shop (who am I kidding, I’m not that organised, it was the ”there’s-nothing-in-the-fridge emergency shop”), and wandering down the aisles, and I happened upon this post-it note, left upon some chocolate:

Always a lover of a good quote, intrigued, I set about finding out exactly what @TheHopefulNotes is.  And readers?  If you’re on Twitter, follow them, please.  As their Facebook page declares, they are a movement dedicated “to all those happiness ninjas out there, leaving notes anywhere to improve a stranger’s day”.

Their Twitter feed is a long, long list of photographs of notes that strangers have found in the most unlikely of places.  I defy you to not to lost half your day smiling.

Go on, readers.  Leave a note out there, to make a stranger smile.

Happy weekend.
