Proud

We did it. You did it. Seven of us ran and walked and sweated our way around the Race for Life course at Richmond and many,  many more of you made it worth our while with your INCREDIBLE donations.

You wonderful, brilliant, amazing people have helped us raise

£1067.50

for Cancer Research UK and I cannot put into words how overwhelmingly proud I am. Our Justgiving page is still active, you can donate HERE and know that we will be forever grateful. And want to lick your faces.

To every single one of your – THANK YOU. From the bottom of my very emotional heart.

To Gemma, Katie, Anita, Bex, Crysta and Yanthe – you’re the best. Fact. I have proof -

Proud to have been involved, proud to have run it with such amazing women by my side, and proud to have such a generous and supportive community behind us every step of the way! Thank you ALL.

Aisling, thank you for organising this, I think I speak for us all when I say it was a brilliant, emotional, hot but awesome day and it wouldn’t have happened without your idea and organisation, so, yeah you rock and we love you. And Stella.

    KL xx

PS: And thank you Yanthe for the sprint finish. I did not know I could move that fast x

Hear hear! I like it when A gets her organised hat on. Wouldn’t have ever happened without her – I can vouch that C and I did BUGGER ALL to organise this as we lounged on the proverbial AOW sofa (our one contribution was sponsorship), and it was all Aisling. True story.

You’re very welcome and please don’t lick my face!

And well done to all of you – much harder to actually puff and sweat through it then to click ‘donate’ like I did.

This truly was one of the most remarkable days of my life. Thanks so much to all the ladies involved and to Gemma for forcing me on at the end. Bring on the pinktures!!!

About

Hello! We're Clare, Aisling and Anna and welcome to a corner of the world where smart, flawed, real women talk about the bigger picture; about their experiences, stories and opinions on all aspects of being a woman today, from marriage to feminism to pretty, too.

More here.
