Weekend Wonderings

‘Our love and support can make all the difference for people who are alone and in need this Christmas.’

As a gift to ourselves and to you this Christmas, we have donated to The Salvation Army. Our donation will ensure that 3 struggling families are provided with nourishing food, simple gifts and the support needed to see them through the festive period.

It’s all to easy to think that we have it ‘hard’, especially at this time of year when material possessions take on a whole new level of importance and the love and care that goes into wrapping a gift is so often ignored in favour of the thing inside.

But there are families out there for whom a simple box, filled with basic foods and a couple of stuffed toys, delivered by a caring, generous, warm-hearted volunteer, will mean the world. That’s what really matters and we thank The Salvation Army from the bottom of our hearts. If you would like to, you can Donate Here.

Merry Christmas to you, the wonderful AOW community. We’ll be back on New Year’s Day, 2013. A whole new year, earmarked for new friends, new adventures, building relationships and breaking down boundaries. We can’t wait.

Hello! We're Clare, Aisling and Anna and welcome to a corner of the world where smart, flawed, real women talk about the bigger picture; about their experiences, stories and opinions on all aspects of being a woman today, from marriage to feminism to pretty, too.

More here.
