2 Months

This month I have been mainly…

…sitting around.

I do a lot of sitting around…
I did go on my first ever holiday though.

We had to go on a speed boat to get there. I slept the entire way.

Whilst we were there I got to know my gramps….

…and also modelled my sun hat. It’s from the latest collection at Mothercare, darling.

This month I also had my first swimming lesson.
I think Dad enjoyed it a tad more than I did.

I prefer cuddles on dry land.

I guess I should tell you about my new best friend Max, too (this picture is by his mum, Chloe). He was born exactly 7 weeks after me. Yes, he’s cute. What of it? I was that cute once too. He can’t hold is head up half as well as I can, so, you know, it’s swings and roundabouts.

Mostly though, I’ve been working on this face. It pretty much seems to get me what I want, and lets me get away with all sorts, so I’ll be using it a lot more over the coming months…

Clare your daughter is the most photogenic thing I have ever seen. That little Max better watch out for his heart in a few years time….

Sitting around AND looking cute is very different to just sitting around. She's adorable. You are bringing her to the next AOP to hang out with her gal pals yes?

Emmi, you are quite possibly the most gorgeous baby I have ever seen. And check you out already going on holiday! xxx

Oh Clare, she is just so so gorgeous! And that smile is just wonderful.

    Huge congrats to Chloe, too!

    Hello beautiful Emilia!

Now, I do approve of your boyfriend – he is rather cute. Don't worry about him being a bit 'behind' in the development stakes – that's just boys for you and it means you will be able to boss him about a bit more.

And your Dad? When he is old and grey and grumpy, get your Mum to dig out the photo of you too swimming. He's a bit of a dish y'know? So when you think both your parents are rather uncool – be assured that once they were most definately were not.

    Oh good grief, I'm smitten!

The thing is, whilst I'm not naturally maternal, nor do I tend to go squidgy over babies, I keep coming back to these pictures and going "THEY MADE THAT". Man, Emilia is cool. And she rocks that hat. I suppose if she is gonig to take your time away from Aisling and I, at least she's cute with it.

That picture where she looks so utterly unimpressed with the whole concept of swimming remains my favourite!

And huge congratulations to Chloe! Max is beautiful.

Arrrh, what a beautiful little girl. Congrats to Chloe too.

My favourite photo is the speedboat. Mummy with her sunglasses on, looking totally relaxed, with newborn baby sleeping, exotic surroundings, and SPEEDBOAT!! It is such a glamourous photo. James Bond-esque.

Way to make me broody again! Seriously, she's absolutely gorgeous. I miss my girls being babies! x

Absolutely adorable! Its making me broody even though I have a 10 month old! They change so much in the first few months. Enjoy every day!

Thank you ladies – Emmi will never be allowed to read these comments for fear of her head exploding with all of the gorgeous comments! I'm also going to have to prevent Andy from seeing thebabywife's comment about being a dish otherwise I'll never hear the end of it!

Will be back soon with a real post, with you know, words and everything.

She's beautiful. The picture with her gramps is adorable. Awwh…

I agree with Ciara – the photos are making me broody, despite the fact I've got an eight month old asleep upstairs. I miss her being small already!

Eeek it's Emmi! I can't believe I waited all day to log on, stupid boring work taking up all my time!

Well, Emmi it looks like you've already had some amazing adventures! And you've already made a new friend. How exciting! Isn't Max cute? Congrats Chloe!

This is my favourite baby-related post ever! More please. Can Emmi do a regular 'What Emmi did' type post? Loving that last pic, how could you refuse a smile that gorgeous!

Also, Claire (lovely to hear from you again) you're looking stunning and so very svelt even thought you've just had a baby!

I've decided. It's the eyes. She has the most ridiculously gorgeous eyes EVER. And she's so like you and Andy! Amezzing.

And Mahj, I don't think it's weird-them are cheeks that need to be smooshed, aren't they?!

Love you both, lots and lots
