I am still in the same place as I was last Friday. Albeit with a little more anxiety and a lot more excitement.
In addition to this though, I was given a delightful present by The Man this weekend.
Not the diamond earrings I’d heard of other brides getting from their intendeds.
The Flu.
Thus I have nothing useful or interesting to say whatsoever, except that I bloody hope to god this has passed by next week. Snot, and bloodshot eyes and clammy skin were not the look I was going for. I was also rather hoping that I’d feel something slightly better than ‘barely alive’ on the day itself.*
*I know, I should just lower my expectations.

Don't panic!! Come the wedding you will be looking glowing and glam and fabulous! That's what make up is for! (and paracetamol for aches and pains!) You will be just fine, try not to worry. I had anxiety attacks about throwing up whilst in the church (morning sickness) but I was remarkably cool as a cucumber, as will you be.

Hello! We're Clare, Aisling and Anna and welcome to a corner of the world where smart, flawed, real women talk about the bigger picture; about their experiences, stories and opinions on all aspects of being a woman today, from marriage to feminism to pretty, too.
